Tow and Mow - Hort 1900

About the Tow and Mow

The Tow and Mow is perfect for topping paddocks on farms and lifestyle blocks, as well as mowing orchards, vineyards, and roadsides and lawns!

The Tow and Mow is the perfect solution to keep you paddocks topped or tree rows trimmed!

  • More efficient than a ride on mower
  • Cheaper than buying a tractor and flail mower
  • Easy to connect to your existing tow vehicle
  • Simple and robust design means more cost effective and easier to maintain.
  • Tow and Mow Twin Models:  feature wheels positioned at the side of the mowing deck. This is more suited to undulating, rough grounds and all-terrain topping. Provides excellent ground contouring and minimising scalping.
  • Tow and Mow Hort Models: feature wheels positioned behind the body of the mowing deck. This is more suitable for level terrain. Cuts close to fence lines, around trees and down rows.  The Hort model features some small anti-scalp wheels to try and minimise any risk of scalping if it is used on mildly undulating terrain.

The Tow and Mow has solid, quality construction, it’s easy to use, and has the ability to mow large areas quickly. The range of models offers specialised designs for different mowing needs.

The Twin model is available in two cutting widths: 1000mmm & 1270mm
The Hort model is available in three cutting widths: 1000mm, 1270mm & 1900mm

All Tow and Mow models use 4 stroke Briggs and Stratton 850 series engines.

These easy start engines boast 190cc / 5.5HP.

Having multiple direct drive engines power the individual spindles. This eliminates the need for belts, pulleys and clutches. Not only is this less parts to worry about but it means more efficiency due to no loss of energy.

The Tow and Mow uses two flail type mower blades on each spindle.

All Tow and Mow products cut from 30mm to 180mm height. This enables the ability to mow garden lawns and also top paddocks.
